• ESARC is responsible for search and rescue operations within The zone of responsibility and covers the Flight Information Region (FIR) within the Egyptian territory, which is shown on the map.

• The zone of responsibility is covered through the following :

- Joint rescue coordination center (JRCC).

- Sub - centers under construction all-over the country .
