on all international frequencies (121.5 -243 – 406 MHz) Signals are
also received through INMARSAT-C.

SAR
aircraft are equipped with (500 – 2182 – 8364 KHz) and (121.5and
243 MHz).

Maritime units are
equipped with communications equipment on the SAR international
frequency 156.8 MHz (Channel 16).
