- ESARC provides its services using:

  * Air SAR elements.

  Fixed wing aircraft which are used in the
  following areas  :

- Search operations.

- Medical evacuation.

- Provision of live saving equipment (rescue boats-first aids – communication equipment - ration and water ….....).

  Helicopters which are used in :

- Search and rescue operations.

- Medical evacuation.

- Flying hospitals.

- Air- fire fighting.

  * Sea SAR elements within the international  area of responsibilities (nautical miles from  the coast).

  Maritime units used in rescuing and
  towing vessels in the Mediterranean and
  red seas .

  * Land SAR elements.

  land units for search and rescue
 operations to locate lost individuals and
 aircraft incidents in non-inhabited and
 desert areas.
